Populous The study has designed the stadium to be built in Qatar for the World Cup 2022, Sports City Stadium. It will be equipped with 47,000 seats and when it is closed and will be treated entirely covered with plants for the air conditioning is designed a retractable roof and a retractable field that allows the arena to be reconfigured for non-athletes.
Powered by solar energy, the playing field and the seats will be fully air conditioned with cold air blowing gently on the spectators in the neck and ankles.
